The EmrgNSee (Emrg+N+See) Festival for electronic music and emerging visionary, participatory art. July 18-21, 2008, near Salem, Oregon; only one hour south of Portland, Oregon and one hour north of Eugene, Oregon. Outdoor camping on 100 acres of private land; workshops, multiple stages, food and art vending. Yes, we know that "emrgnsee" is the goofiest spelling ever. It's commonly misspelled as the: emrgnsee festival, emergensee festival, emergnsee festival, emerg-n-see festival, emergency festival, emergen-c festival, emerg-n-c festival, emerg-n-cy festival..

Venue

Nestled deep in a lush canyon, on land owned by one of the first families to settle Oregon, the venue holds endless acres of cushy green meadows shaded by ancient oaks and old-growth evergreens. There is a sparkling clear stream weaving through the length of the venue and past every stages, and ample camping for you and your friends.

Born in Ashland, and Movin’ On Up!

Emrg+N+See is elated to return to the same incredible location as last year…in the hills east of Salem, Oregon! This is the beautiful, magical locale you have been hearing about, true to the roots of the festival, and perfectly situated to make Emrg+N+See the premier Northwest outdoor festival of the summer! With easy access, sweet camping, and dancing areas to make your bare toes curl, we know you’ll fall in love as quickly as we did.

General Info + Gates + Exodous:

Entry/Re-entry will be strongly discouraged. While we will be providing most anything you might need, you should plan to be completely self-reliant for the course of the weekend (including your water + cash supply).

Gates open on Friday, July 18 at 12:00 noon. Early line-ups at the gate will be allowed after 11am; no vehicles will be allowed to wait on the property or the adjacent roads before that time.

Gates close on Monday, July 21 at 12:00 noon. Please be prepared to be packed and safely on the road by that time.

If you need a place to chill before or after the event, you might try
Silver Falls State Park, about 15 miles further east; or any of Oregon’s other fine public lands.
